Life — it's the worst! One day, you're just cruising through the week, eating enough food and having a roof over your head, and then, all of a sudden, there's a caffeine flavoring shortage, and the world comes crashing down around you. So, of course, we were particularly saddened and touched when we heard the story of Asher Anidjar. The poor guy tried to order a Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks, and they were out, leaving him "depressed." He was not the only one afflicted, either. The Wall Street Journal has hard-hitting interviews with a number of unfortunate citizens who have experienced the same tragedy.

Just kidding! Still, do not mess with our Pumpkin Spice. In fact, just don't even mess with our coffee, at all. Apparently, people are going so crazy for the signature seasonal drink that stocks are running short — luckily, in case of a "pumpkin emergency" (actual term used by a Starbucks rep), stores can order extra supplies to keep the spice coming. Thanks for the LOLs, WSJ! Now, we're off to go order a year's supply of Starbucks' faux-pumpkin flavoring on eBay, because, apparently, that's possible. Somebody call the police commissioner — we smell a very seasonal, rustic black market on the rise. (The Wall Street Journal)
