WATCH: Lindsay Lohan Stars In B-Movie By American Psycho Writer

Welcome back to Hollywood, Lindsay Lohan. The actress' recent roles in Liz & Dick and Scary Movie 5 may pale in comparison to the upcoming grind-house film The Canyons. Written by famed author of the gory novel American Psycho Bret Easton Ellis, this new movie looks like a cheap '70s B-movie...but in the best, over-saturated, über-sexy way possible. A recent teaser trailer of the film features campy editing and some groovy '70s tunes.
Interestingly enough, the trailer doesn't show any actual dialogue between Lohan and her co-star, James Deen — a real-life porn star. Instead, we are given chopped-up scenes of Lohan dramatically crying and looking fiercely mischievous. The trailer doesn't give away any real information about the plot, but one tagline reads, "Where the sexy is as cheap as the budget, and the only way out is death."

Lohan, who cameo'd in Robert Rodriguez's gory film Machete in 2010, isn't new to campy genres. However, we really hope she actually comes through this time. Camp is the first place to go for a comeback.
