This morning, we caught a glimpse of a fast-paced new thriller starring Jason Bateman, Alexander Skarsgård, Paula Patton, our new boyfriend Max Thieriot...and Marc Jacobs himself.
Disconnect, an independent film that wowed the festival circuits last year, is a type of Crash (the Paul Haggis version) for the age of Facebook and online bullying. An ensemble movie with interlaced story lines, it appears that MJ plays some sort of "pimp" for wayward, underage teens who are sucked into the seedy world of web-chat prostitution. In the preview, you can see brief glimpses of the tattooed Jacobs, who is especially menacing when telling an off-screen character, "Trust me, and no one else." We always do, MJ.
Disconnect hits theaters April 12.
