UPDATE: We've got the full version of this gorgeous, charming film for your viewing pleasure right now. Check it out in all its delightfully decadent glory below.
Following the release of its popular Candy fragrance, Prada is launching a lighter, more playful version of the fragrance for spring. To celebrate the release of Candy L'Eau, Prada has created a feature film, Je m'appelle Candy starring French actress Léa Seydoux as a gorgeously chic French girl named Candy. The first teaser of the Wes Anderson/Roman Coppola-created film has debuted today; two more teasers will follow, with the full short film rolling out next week.
From what we can see so far, the film will be darkly charming, with plenty of spring style inspiration (those bangs and the pink polish on Seydoux? Amazing). Plus, it has succeeded in piquing our interest in how this new version of Candy will smell — we've heard that the fragrance's gourmand base will be lightened up with the addition of citrus and floral notes. Thankfully, we won't have to wait with bated breath for long: Candy L'Eau will be hitting shelves (and, perhaps, our vanities) in April.
