Photo Nerds, Brace Yourselves: The New G-Star x Leica Collab Is Pure Gold

We're suckers for a genius collaboration here at R29, and the news of the latest crossover between luxe denim brand G-Star and iconic camera brand Leica has us all abuzz. This summer, the brands will introduce the Leica DLux 6 "Edition by G-Star RAW," or the RAW Leica. Modern updates will be given to the classic camera, such as an enhanced structure that will allow for an easier grip and a special-edition brown leather case and carrying strap.

While it may seem a bit unlikely, this collaboration makes perfect sense with G-Star coming off several successful crossovers with the likes of American bike manufacturer Cannondale, swiss furniture brand Prouvé, and others. And the industrial aesthetic of the German camera brand will undoubtedly pair well with the high-quality sensibilities of G-Star. The worldwide collectible will be available in Leica stores and boutiques, and before you know it, this creative crossover just might turn you into a regular Ansel (in better fitting denim, of course).
