We always expect great things from Miuccia Prada and her team of tastemakers, and the latest ad campaign for the Miu Miu Fall 2013 collection is no exception. The surreal images are part of a recent trend in high-end advertising that juxtaposes models in intricate outfits against flat, green-screen-meets-cardboard backgrounds. Models Katlin Aas, Emily DiDonato, Daphne Groeneveld, Georgia May Jagger, Adriana Lima, Marina Nery, Hind Sahli, Anne Verhallen, and Lindsey Wixson pose for Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin on a sad CGI cruise ship against a morose-looking ocean and a Monet sky (sans sunrise), and they're all the more striking against such a dreary backdrop.
