This year's Newport Folk Festival may go down in history as the biggest and brightest since the festival began more than 50 years ago. With three days of music, special events, local vendors, and more, next weekend really does have something for everyone to enjoy. This year's lineup brings together acts of all kinds who share an affinity for the timeless sound and history of folk music, while expanding the idea of what a folk band truly means. From Ramblin' Jack Elliott to Beck to Old Crow Medicine Show, there's a variety to the lineup that's both exciting and a bit daunting.
