Kate Upton would like you to know there's a lot more to life than being really, really ridiculously good looking. Don't let the hair fool you; she is far from a ditzy blonde. And, her wordplay is just as provocative as her Elle cover shoot. "After my first Sports Illustrated cover, I felt terrible about myself for a solid month," Upton confesses. "Every single guy I met was either married or about to be married, and I felt like I was their bachelor present or something. I'm not a toy, I'm a human. I'm not here to be used. I am a grown woman, and you need to figure your shit out." Amen, Kate, amen.
Relationships, however, aren't her priority. She openly admits that she'd prefer working, even if she has to deal with stereotyping. Upton reveals how she stays true to herself in the face of snarky comments (tattoos, anyone?), and leaves off with a tiny ultimatum: "I'm always like, 'I'm about to pull something on you, and you're so focused on thinking I'm dumb you're not even going to know." Future Kate-haters, consider this your warning. (Elle)
