Some of us consider ourselves to be stiletto-bootie kinds of gals, while others are more comfortable stomping 'round in a combat pair — yes, even with a flippy dress. But, for the newest Aldo Rise collection with Preen, we're getting the best of both sartorial worlds.
Going for that feminine-but-not-frilly aesthetic that we love, the collection will officially make its launch tomorrow, October 23. The thick-strapped, mixed-media styles (in pony hair, leather, and suede) come right from the Preen fall '13 runway and mark the fourth partnership project between the U.K. designers Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi and the Aldo brand.
While we first spotted the sturdy stiletto boots and super-sexy ankle-strap pumps in July, for this big arrival we're once again falling in love with the styles, especially when accompanied by the Preen RTW floral-meets-plaid prints — another perfectly executed, pretty-meets-punk mix. Click ahead for a few of the inspiration pics, and remember: The collection — priced from $160 to $230 — is finally shoppable tomorrow.
