Damien Hirst For Alexander McQueen Brings Skull Scarves Back

If ever there was inspiration for us to think fondly about skull scarves (without the Paris Hilton connotations) once again, it's this upcoming Damien Hirst and Alexander McQueen collaboration. The forthcoming line of neckwear unites Hirst and McQueen's shared interest in those cranial renderings, and the result is exquisite, haunting, and truly compelling.
Kaleidoscopic prints, butterfly designs, and geometric arrangements adorn the scarves, which are made of chiffon, cashmere, twill, and more. About the collaboration, which will be available November 15, Hirst told T Magazine it was “something we should have done years ago. I love McQueen and think this collaboration is a marriage made in heaven." The 30 styles range in price from $515 to $1,175 and will be available in Alexander McQueen boutiques and online. And, we can't wait.
