So, it's old news that Abigail Breslin is all grown up and looking amazing. But, we have to admit that were were still shocked and awed when we saw photos of Ms. Breslin at the August: Osage County premiere wearing the most breathtakingly awesome fishtail braid. We knew that the starlet was on to big things, but we are especially thrilled to predict that she may be the next red-carpet beauty star.
In a world that is increasingly being taken over by pixie cuts (hey, we're not complaining), it's wonderful to see that a big, bodacious braid is still a thing. Here, the softness of Breslin's fishtail adds a feminine, youthful accent to her futuristic dress and sultry makeup — adding up to a look that's fierce, yet totally age-appropriate. The key takeaway here: Make sure that your braid is infused with lots of texture (and don't be afraid to muss it up even more post-plaiting).
