French brand Claudie Pierlot asked a few of its friends — including Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Benjamin Millepied — to use its new Custom Kit to DIY an item for themselves. From pretty ballet slippers to a not-so-simple bateau top, the creations range from inspiring to interesting, much like the handmade projects that come from the paws of us plebes.

The kit contains eight custom patches, 30 studs, 30 rings, 30 icicle-shaped charms, a long chain, a sewing kit, and a white tote bag (in case you want to stick with the basics). All of the profits from the sale of the set will go to the children's medical and education charity La Chaine de l'Espoir and UNESCO's Malala Fund for Girls’ Right to Education.
