But, what about our old friend, the chignon? Sure, the top knot had a moment, but other than that, the simple bun doesn't seem to get much love anymore. Hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?
Well, the ladies over at The Beauty Department obviously were thinking that the bun deserved a bit of a transformation: They created an easy step-by-step tutorial that barely requires any extra work, but with a much more impressive result. To create it, you simply begin twisting your hair in a circle, but instead of finishing the knot, you bring the hair in the other direction, essentially creating a new bun that sits right next to your original bun. Tuck the ends under, and voilà: a cool, origami-esque look that barely takes any extra time at all.
