We're less than three months away from the season premiere of Game of Thrones, so expect to start seeing its breakout star, Emilia Clarke, everywhere. First, she'll cover Vs. magazine's upcoming spring 2014 issue, and we've got a sneak peek.
Clarke is one of six females who'll grace the issue's cover. The others are Christy Turlington, Soo Joo Park, Helena Christensen, Stacy Martin, and Julianne Moore, with Christensen also serving as guest editor. But, this is about Clarke, whose flawless expression is reminiscent of a screen goddess from Hollywood's golden age.
We've also finally come to terms with the fact that the platinum blonde locks that Clarke has made iconic in her role as Khaleesi are sadly just a wig. She's a brunette, and that's okay. Also, she doesn't actually own three dragons that can eviscerate an entire kingdom with a single breath, and that, too, is okay. This is real life, and Game of Thrones is make-believe, and if we tell ourselves that at least four times a day, we'll actually start believing it. At least that's what our therapist tells us. Baby steps, people. (Vs.)
