This is when designer beauty collaborations make our hearts sing — makeup is a far more affordable way to nab designer swagger. Well, prepare yourselves: NARS Cosmetics has just announced their upcoming collaboration with 3.1 Phillip Lim, according to Style.com.
Hot on the heels of last summer's successful Pierre Hardy partnership and a successful nail-lacquer collection with Thakoon, the makeup giant will produce nine nail lacquers influenced by the brand, launching in August. One of the polishes is also being used at today's runway presentation. Which one? Stay tuned. We're on our way there now to capture the magic as it happens.
The partnership makes sense, with 14 seasons of backstage beauty collaborations between the two brands. We're already starting to dream of fall manicures, and we haven't even seen them yet. But, if they're reflective of the amazing looks that makeup artist Francelle Daly pulled off last season, trust these polishes will go into heavy rotation come Labor Day weekend. (Style.com)
