Rachel McAdams & Lindsay Lohan Aren’t As Different As You Think

There are perhaps no two actors who've had such dissimilar careers than Rachel McAdams and Lindsay Lohan. Where McAdams has landed consecutive, successful roles and maintained a place in the heart of her fans, Lohan has had a troubled time with both her career and her audience. Yet, McAdams reveals in a recent interview that she and Lohan aren't so different. In fact, she says she was "in awe" of her Mean Girls co-star.

As Allure's August cover girl, McAdams tells the magazine she was impressed by Lohan's natural ability. "I looked at her as this experienced actor, and she had great comedic timing, so natural. It's just funny to hear that because you never know what people are thinking. We all try to act like we've got it together."

In terms of her own career, McAdams is looking forward to a more roller coaster-like pattern. "I'm hoping it's going to be complicated and have lots of dead ends and corners and sharp turns. I hope it can't be summed up too easily when I'm done," she tells Allure. And, if that doesn't describe Lohan's history, we're not sure what does.
