Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's wedding was sweet as can be. Their children's artwork was incorporated into Jolie's dress, and each of the kids played multiple roles throughout the day. It was a memorable moment for the Jolie-Pitt clan, and now it looks like the wedding will have a lingering effect for many, many others.
A source tells Radar that People paid $2.5 million for the U.S. rights to Pitt and Jolie's wedding photos, while Hello! ponied up $2.5 million for the international rights. The Jolie-Pitts donated this money directly to The Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation, which aids various humanitarian projects around the world.
This isn't the first time Brad and Angelina pulled a stunt of magnanimity. In 2008, they sold the first photos of twins Knox and Vivienne to the same publications for $14 million. That money was also donated to charity.
In conclusion, just when you thought Brangelina's big day couldn't get any bigger, there they go again — helping countless people all over the world. L'chaim, you two. (Radar)
