Thursday evening kicked off Refinery29's biggest event ever, with the opening night of R29 Country Club. Between appearances from Gwen Stefani and Abigail Breslin, a killer live performance by Banks, and a serious fashion-inspired mini golf course, the party at 82Mercer was the perfect start to New York Fashion Week.
What made it so epic? With Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor behind the DJ booth and yummy thematic Stumptown cocktails being served, aspiring golfers took a swing at nine holes that paid homage to iconic New York designers like Diane von Furstenberg, Suno, and Alexander Wang. Meanwhile, our wall of fame nodded at 20 more designers, including Rebecca Minkoff, Prabal Gurung, Michael Kors, and Tory Burch, who have all undoubtedly influenced our wardrobes to the nth degree. The interactive installation is way more than the coolest golf course you've ever seen — it's a love letter to New York City, and, of course, style.
