Kate Spade’s Creepy-Crawly Clutches Are Freaking Us Out

Fans of Kate Spade's bags might be a little surprised to see the creepy-crawly turn they've taken for spring '15. At her presentation yesterday, Kate Spade showed a host of garden-party-worthy dresses accessorized with clutches inspired by, well, things you'd find in the dirt. There were watering-can and flower-pot shoulder bags, and, on the squickier side of things, wicker bullfrog bags, crab clutches, and snail minaudières.

While Kate Spade ladies have always been down for a dose of whimsy, could you see yourself packing your lipstick and keys in an escargot? Or a scales-and-all fish clutch that looks straight out of a David Attenborough documentary?
