Sarah Jessica Parker’s NYC Apartment JUST Sold

UPDATE: The New York Daily News reports that Parker and husband Matthew Broderick have finally sold their 6,800-square-foot home for $20 million — just a million more than the couple paid for it in 2011.
Some of us have yen for collecting lipsticks. Others are out to crack every possible kale recipe. But, Sarah Jessica Parker? She likes to dabble in the real-estate game. The actress and style icon recently re-listed her Greenwich Village apartment for $22 million after taking it off the market in April (having originally asked for $25 million). While there were some rumors she only remodeled the first through fifth floors and never actually lived on the premises, images from the initial listing look suspiciously identical to the tour she did for Vogue a few months ago.
Either way, the abode lives up to true SJP style. With minimally decorated walls, loads of natural light, and subtle contrasting hues, it's the pinnacle of luxurious living. If only she hadn't cleared out her glowing globe collection and that forest green velvet sofa we spotted in the video. Oh, and there are seven fireplaces. If we had a casual $22 million laying around, we'd already be writing the check. We'd also be happy to just rent out that oval-shaped, hand-carved stone tub in the master bath. Click through to view the luxurious estate — plus pick up a few home styling tricks in which Parker surely had a fashionable hand.
