It's a girl. Of course it's a girl.
News broke this past July that the on-again, off-again couple were expecting. Mendes, however, remained elusive and basically wasn't seen in public during her entire pregnancy. Speaking with Ellen DeGeneres before the unofficially titled "Disappearance of Eva Mendes" era, the actress brushed off the rumors, "It all started because I didn't want to go through the scanners at the airport."
A source told Us Weekly that Gosling had been caring for Mendes during the last weeks of her pregnancy.
"Ryan goes out and gets the groceries. [Eva's] been wanting pasta, and he's cooking her meals," the source said. "Ryan has already stepped into the role of caring father-to-be."
