There are lots of great things about being a celebrity—nice clothes, fancy houses, getting to hang out with other celebrities, starting lifestyle brands—but there are some non-great things as well. For example, there are hackers stealing your private photos, and paparazzi chasing you around town. And then there are the celeb-selfie (celfie?) seeking fans who treat you like a prop for their Instagram feed, as this new short film starring Kirsten Dunst demonstrates.
The two-minute feature was made for Vs. Magazine by filmmaker Matthew Frost. Vs. says that, "Between late Ubers and selfie-obsessed fangirls, Kiki gives us a tongue-in-cheek look at celebrity culture and social media... Next time you take a selfie with your favorite star, think twice — unlike the girls in this film." Point taken, Ms. Dunst.
