According to the ever credible Sunday Mirror, the Barbadian singer has been approached by the film's producers. If this proves true, Rihanna will be starring alongside Daniel Craig in 2015's Bond 24. Though, whether that means she's a Bond girl or just a pretty faced cameo remains unknown.
Madonna made an appearance in 2002's Die Another Day during the Pierce Brosnan era. But, one scene does not a Bond girl make. Rihanna's previous Hollywood foray — 2012's Battleship — received decent reviews (the New York Times said "she’s just fine in the rather generic role"), which could fare positive in the campaign for her 007 role.
Perhaps she'll be soundtracking the title song, since she's, you know, a singer. We'll just have to mull this over over this with a martini — shaken, of course. (Digital Spy )
