When a PSA comes approved by Joan Jett, you just know it's going to be good. And, it is.
With just two days to go before the midterm elections of November 4 — please, please tell us you registered to vote — the dazzling minds of The Department of Peace have created a video PSA to rock the vote in their own special way. Yes, it involves Jett's own "Bad Reputation." And, also pretty much every incredible female you can name.
Carrie Brownstein, Jemima Kirke, Lesley Gore, Tavi Gevinson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Sarah Sophie Flicker, Natasha Lyonne, Sia, Alexa Chung, Hannah Simone, Alia Shawkat, a teddy bear, and some adorably feisty kids are just a handful of peeps lip-syncing to the rock hit and urging you — yes, you — to get your butt to the polls. As those scary stats flashing on the screen will remind you, there are some seriously troubling laws on the books that affect women. If you want to do something about it, you've simply got to vote.

You can also mosey on over to Orla Kiely's New York City flagship, where Flicker and The Daily Show's Lizz Winstead will be hosting a voting awareness party for Lady Parts Justice this afternoon. Or, just spend the rest of the day blasting Joan Jett and making a ballot box action plan. So long as you do your part and vote, it's all good.
