No Photoshop Alert! Lara Stone Appears In Stunning Post-Baby Editorial (NSFW)

Totally unretouched images in a fashion magazine. Lara Stone's return to high-concept modeling. A beautiful, true-to-life representation of a woman's body post-baby. All three of those things are headline-making stories in the fashion industry's news cycle, but the fact that they all exist in one editorial that feels as sensational as a slice of white bread is a feat indeed.
Shot by Juergen Teller for System Magazine, Lara Stone appears in a very, very different sort of Calvin Klein underwear shoot than the official campaign she starred in this past July, which marked her re-entry into modeling after giving birth to a son last year. The results are surprisingly honest. With all the other "imperfections" that you rarely see in an airbrushed fashion campaign (striae, undereye circles, wrinkles, dry skin, flesh that actually moves — to think), Stone is all NBD in the most amazing way. Her poses, too, are familiar and comfortable, ranging from "Listening intently to you talk about how Tinder's new undo button has changed your life" to "Blissing out for a moment to a particularly good song on Spotify." No suggestively arched backs. No sticking hands down the front of impossibly tight jeans. Other than the branded waistband on her undies, the two shoots couldn't be more distinct, which we'd like to think that was intentional. It's not often that you see this flavor of sexiness, presented in this way.
