Kate Upton Chopped Her Bombshell Hair

Update: It has recently come to our attention from Ms. Upton's hairstylist that the images you see here are, in fact, a "faux bob." We are at once flabbergasted and impressed at this wizardry, but do maintain that the actress should consider going short because she looks good.

Kate Upton, she of Sports Illustrated, Vogue, Bobbi Brown, and rom-com fame, has long been pegged as a blonde bombshell. And, when one thinks "bombshell," one typically imagines a woman with long, shiny, usually wavy hair — and, of course, red lipstick. Since her arrival on the scene, Ms. Upton has mostly stuck to that script. Until now.

Yes, she's been bit by the lob bug, just like Lauren Conrad and Lucy Hale before her. Now, Kate has shorter hair and is totally killing it.

The chop comes courtesy of her glam guru Bryce Scarlett, who gave her the trim just this weekend. The model-cum-actress is making the rounds in Seoul promoting "Game of War: Fire Age," a video game in which she apparently plays Athena.
