Is there anything more fickle than celebrity hair? Between movie roles, photo ops, and red carpets, it's natural that the stars like to change up their manes from time to time. It's not like they have limited resources, either. Want to try rainbow strands? You've got an entire glam squad at your disposal.

But, not all celebrity makeovers are created equal. Even though this was a huge year for change-ups (we're looking at you, pastel hair), just a handful really stood out. We're not playing favorites, though. Okay, okay, maybe we are.
