How's the Year of the Sheep treating you so far? If you're down on your luck, some face time with the animal mascot itself might bring you some good fortune. That's clearly what the people behind Thanks Nature Café — a South Korean coffee shop that offers customers the chance to hang with an adorable pair of sheep — are thinking.
That's right, cat cafés are so last year; sheep cafés are where it's at in 2015. Patrons at Thanks Nature can feed and nuzzle with the woolly farm animals that roam free within the nature-themed storefront. The business has been around since 2011, but has enjoyed a spike in visitors recently thanks to the Lunar New Year. Twice a year, the owner brings in a new pair of sheep, and returns the previous pets to a farm just outside of Seoul. As if this whole thing wasn't precious enough already, the current set of inhabitants are named Elsa and Anna.
