Kim Kardashian is fully committed to changing up her hair for sport. A month (almost to the day) after chopping her mane into a shoulder-length bob, she has opted for a new look yet again. This time, she has gone platinum blonde. Pause for reaction. Sure, this isn't Kim's first tango as a blonde, but it is absolutely the most drastic take on the color she's ever attempted. Her hair isn't just golden, it's platinum. Like, really platinum. Last time she went blonde — after having baby North — it caused a major stir. The Internet was decidedly split on the lighter look. But, that style was a little more low-maintenance, as most golden ombré dye jobs are meant to be. Platinum, on the other hand, requires a ton of upkeep.  The decision to go platinum also, once again, points to Kim's strategic positioning of herself as a fashion symbol. Her initial ombré was inspired by a fashion spread in Vogue España, and this time she's opted for a white-blonde hue that is a favorite among the fashion elite, from It Girls and models to editors. Speaking of fashion, as far as hair-change announcements go, Kim couldn't have picked a better time. She and Kanye are currently hopping around Paris for Fashion Week, which put her right in the line of fire for paparazzi photos.  While we're sure Kim will stick to platinum and call it a day (maybe even a month), we've got to take a leap here: How incredible would it be if this was just a stop on her way to a rainbow shade?
