FYI: There Is A Tiny Apartment At The Top Of The Eiffel Tower

Update: According to a representative at the Eiffel Tower, the apartment is not open to the public to enter.  Have you ever fantasized about sitting on top of the world? Or, better yet, on top of Paris? Well, do we have news for you. Turns out the majestic Eiffel Tower houses a teeny-tiny apartment at its peak — 1,000 feet above ground. The iconic structure's designer and namesake, Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, created the private apartment as a quiet retreat where he entertained Thomas Edison, among other brilliant minds. Inside, there are oil paintings, wood furniture, paisley wallpaper, and a few mannequins — just in case you were wondering what Monsieur Eiffel looked like.
