Get out your box of tissues before pressing play on this video. The trailer for Boulevard, starring Robin Williams, is out, and it's a real tearjerker — for more reasons than one.
The movie is about a married banker (Williams) in late middle age who follows through on an impulse to pick up a young male prostitute. Directed by Dito Montiel (A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints), Boulevard premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2014.
"Nothing turned out the way I thought, I guess, and suddenly, I'm 60 years old," Williams' character, Nolan, says in voice-over. The words take on a deeper, sadder meaning coming from the actor who took his own life last August. The movie marks Williams' final on-screen role. (He also voices a character in the upcoming comedy Absolutely Anything, due to be released in 2016.)
"Maybe it's never too late to finally start living the life you really want," Nolan's friend, played by Bob Odenkirk, says.
Starz Digital will release Boulevard on July 10.
