Watch Elizabeth Warren Shame Backward Republicans Into The Modern Age

We have to admit: When Sen. Elizabeth Warren made it unequivocally clear that she wouldn't be running for president in 2016, we were a tad heartbroken. But the good news — apart from the fact that the Massachusetts Democrat's presence in politics will still have a definite impact on the race — is that she's freed up to do other amazing things. Like, for example, educate a Senate full of conservative Republicans about how they, too, can enter the modern age. Warren took to the floor last night in advance of the vote to defund Planned Parenthood to remind her colleagues that it's 2015 — not the 1950s or the 1890s. Paraphrased, her speech went as thus: "Do you know what year it is? Reality check, Rip Van Winkles. Women have already been through the part of history where we are totally disenfranchised. We will not be returning to those times, thank you very much. Also, shame on you, sycophants." Will someone please make an Elizabeth Warren action figure that espouses gender-equality real talk? We would buy one. Heck, we would buy 100.
