The Tyga and Kylie Jenner relationship may have been loosely under wraps for a while. But now that the youngest member of the famous family is officially legal, they are apparently done downplaying their romance.
After Jenner's birthday, the pair jetted off to Mexico, heading off to the airport in the $320,000 Ferrari the rapper reportedly bought for her. That may not be the only gift Tyga gave the 18-year-old, either: It seems as though he's penned a new song in her honor.
"Stimulated" isn't what we'd call a love anthem though — quite to the contrary. It's a rough, raunchy, thinly veiled metaphor for intercourse that centers on the idea that an underage girl is old enough if she's turned on.
"I'm stimulated," Tyga raps, "I'm at the bank, I'm penetratin' / I'm puttin' in, I'm penetratin' / I'm gettin' big, I'm stimulated / I touched the bitch, she disintegrated." And then, later: "They say she young, I should've waited /She a big girl, dog when she stimulated."
While we definitely could have done without the reference to going to the bank — which has a logical leap to "deposits" and, a little further down the line, coin purse — the real issue, more than anything, is the way Tyga is flouting the age of consent so very openly. These lyrics sound like a crystal clear admission of statutory rape. And if this song is any sort of realistic rendering of their sex life, it seems like it's all about Tyga getting off on Kylie's relative youth — a problematic theme within itself.
Admittedly, there's something to be said for lusty, explicit lyrics on the subject of bump and grind. Everybody has a go-to on that front, and there's no shame in that. (Get it, girl.) "Stimulated" might be sexy, but it's got a seedy backstory. It might be one of those songs the now-legal couple should have kept for themselves.
