Amy Schumer Tweets What We Were All Thinking When It Comes To “Who Wore It Best” Posts

Amy Schumer wasn’t too thrilled with being pitted against Jordin Sparks and Fergie in an US Weekly-esque “Who wore it best?” post by The Fashion Spot. But it wasn’t because she didn't get crowned finest-looking of the bunch: She spoke out on Twitter about the all-too-common practice of comparing women to each other based on their looks.
After the The Fashion Spot sent a tweet with side-by-side photos of the three celebs donning the same Halston Heritage dress, Schumer responded “id say jordin,” followed one minute later with, “or Fergie. Or we can stop putting [sic] women against each other!”

Sparks got in on the banter as well, saying, “we all rocked it!” Schumer obviously had to make things funnier (ever the comedian): She posted a photo of herself on the subway wearing a disposable, blue, plastic poncho, captioned, “we did! What are we wearing next? I vote this.” Sparks then posted a raincoat-clad selfie, saying, “I’m in!!” One thing that makes comparing women wearing the same outfit weird is the fact that male celebs rarely, if ever, get lumped into these kinds of roundups. Plus, it too often becomes a "Who has the best body?" conversation disguised as "so-and-so star styled the dress with a nude heel, while that other star went with a crazy clutch." Female celebs questioning the media's tendency to stack them against one another is awesome. Being quite funny while doing so is just a welcome bonus. Related Articles
