Tyler Posey Gives Emotional Teen Wolf Speech Following His “Gay” Snapchat

To the satisfaction of the thousands of rabid fans, Teen Wolf took home the Choice Summer TV Show Award at the Teen Choice Awards. On stage accepting the award were cast members Shelley Hennig, Cody Christian, and Tyler Posey. Posey delivered an acceptance speech on behalf of his cast mates. The speech was filled with messages of love and acceptance. It was pretty emotional as he repeated over and over again how much he adored his beautiful fans. The whole thing seemed like one big apology for an incident that happened earlier this weekend. Posey got heavily criticized for making an ill-informed and offensive joke by pretending to come out as gay on his Snapchat story to all of his followers. Immediately afterwards, he took back the comments and clarified that he's actually not gay, but was trying to say that he supported the LGBTQ community. But his fans seem to have forgiven, or forgotten, about it all because the reactions to the win were overwhelmingly positive. Teen Wolf, along with Pretty Little Liars, are among the legacy shows that consistently find themselves as major winners.

One thing that did upset those watching was being reminded that the upcoming season of the show would be the last.
