Fashion is no stranger to the body-issue debate — it's a place where lean is always on trend and (apparently) Karl Lagerfeld can call Adele "too fat" without reticence. Now, the industry has gotten its hands on the Met.
When Italian artist Anna Utopia Giordano applies a little Photoshop magic to the iconic images (once regarded as the ideal female form) they get an instant-slimmed-down makeover more brutal than a Hearst cover. Granted, the figures are still beautiful, but we think this isn't how nature or the artist intended it. Does a Botticelli babe need a whittled-down waistline? You be the judge. (Flavorwire).
