We love art and we love food, and lately we've been getting a some of both. Yesterday we were salivating over some food that looked good enough to eat, but unfortunately couldn't be eaten. Today, we're in awe of these edible dried-fruit rings that Cathy from La Prochaine Fois has created. Using a dehydrator to dry out very thin slices of fruits and vegetables, Cathy then layered the produce on top of metal rings to create gorgeous, ruffled baubles that would please even the most high-end fingers. The best part is that these pieces are completely edible (except the metal, of course), so if you get a little hungry after your soiree you can have a nutritious little nibble. But then, of course, you would no longer have a unique and beautiful ring. Dilemma! Check out Cathy's blog for more fruit rings featuring oranges, plums, kiwi and other produce. (Running With Heels)
