Cat-loving San Franciscans have been waiting forever for the city's first-ever kitty-friendly café to open. Seriously, we've been talking about KitTea since last fall. And now, it's here. Hayes Valley finally has a modern tea oasis that also offers guests a chance to cuddle with and potentially adopt felines in need of a good home.
Tech vets Courtney Hatt and David Braginsky are thrilled to be offering the city this adorable experience. "My hope is that people will get to engage with not only the cats, but also each other, since cute cats make for a great icebreaker," Hatt tells us.
The high-end space is bedecked with stylish toys and treats for the cats to enjoy, while guests can sip quality tea and lounge on indigo-dyed pillows. How it works? Make a reservation ahead of time, and be prepared to pay $25 for one hour of endless tea and snuggles. Is it worth it? We'll have to let you know.
In honor of the opening, we've rounded up 10 of our favorite snapshots of the four-legged stars of the space. Major cuteness ahead.
