Leave it to Derek Lam to give us a collection that's uber-contemporary, effortlessly chic, and somehow still spritely and fun. The designer's latest offshoot collection, 10 Crosby Derek Lam, takes his normally flirtatious high-end style and gives it a tomboyish spin. The clothes still stick to their girlish roots, but oversized fits meet sharp sillhouettes, to grand effect: The vibe is playfully agressive, and at once childish and mature. The same goes for the images of Hanne Gaby Odiele modeling the voluminous, unorthodox pantsuits and separates, whose sharp, stern face and raucous poses perfectly match this happy juxtaposition.
