This Is Our Jam: Isaac Delusion, “Midnight Sun”

Isaac Delusion is not one curiously named man, but the partnership of longtime friends Jules Paco and Loic Fleury – referred to in press materials as simply L. and J. As Isaac Delusion, the two create blissful electronic pop somewhere between Sweden's Kings of Convenience and Sigur Rós front man Jónsi's more naturalistic solo work (the record was inspired by a trip to Iceland, which makes perfect sense). Whatever the influences, “Midnight Sun” is the sort of infinitely relistenable track that fails to wear thin after endless repetition. Pure headphone bliss.
The Midnight Sun EP is out now on Cracki Records.
