Taxi, Airport, Taxi, Hotel, Repeat. For those of us who are always on the go, we don’t have much time to plan every minute of our travels. We know we want to shop at the most coveted boutiques, munch on delicious food and explore the unknown, but sometimes it's hard to organize all of that. We know we sometimes just go on vacation and cross our fingers that we'll run into some locals who can just help us out...we might check out a few travel websites, read some reviews, and maybe text our girlfriends for advice before take off. But reading an entire Lonely Planet seems like a lot of work.

So, what if there were a way to tell our social network where we’re going, when we're headed there, and then ask everyone for advice and recs at one time? Say hello to gtrot. It's a social travel site that allows you to share trips with friends. Once you share your trip on there, your friends can offer advice and you can cull it all to make your trip entirely magical!
Gtrot basically shares a list of friends living in any city, plus friends who have been to that city, based on their Facebook location data. You’ll also be able to see deals and events in that city, so you can use them to plan your trip. Connect it to Facebook and Foursquare to make sure you're getting all of the advice you could possibly access. Then, all you have to do is save the places gtrot recommends, and boom! Within minutes, you’re ready to go. What are you waiting for? Plan your trip and get out of here!
