Peep Your D.C. Editor’s Small & Chic Home, Where DIYs Rule

We've already dished some secrets on making your digs feel high-design, but it just so happens that our own D.C. editor's cozy home popped up on Apartment Therapy yesterday, so we thought we'd share ('cause, you know, it proves our point).
Holly manages to fit a home office, a vintage clothing showroom, a living area, and a creative workspace (not to mention a bedroom and kitchen!) into roughly 500 square feet — so, you know she knows a thing or two about smart storage and a savvy edit of your belongings. Even better? Practically every piece in her home is DIY'd, thrifted, found on Craigslist, or passed down from family members. Translation: You can make a blah apartment feel like a comfy home without going broke.
We've selected our favorite snapshots — and quite frankly, they look like something straight out of the dreamiest Ralph Lauren catalog ever — so click through to take a peek, and jump over to Apartment Therapy for the full story.
