This Is The Most Dreamy Boathouse Wedding You’ve Ever Seen

For many, a coastal Northern California wedding sounds nothing short of picture-perfect. So, when we saw the idyllic Inverness nuptials of Faye McAuliffe, interior designer and co-owner of Bread & Water Catering, and her husband Justin Kane — our jaws dropped. 

The celebration took place about 40 miles outside of San Francisco in the gorgeous, iconic boathouse Launch for Hire (which we’ve always been curious about when driving along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard). The waterfront wedding included tons of personal touches, a seriously cool leather jacket moment, and the couple’s adorable Yorkie, Finn.

It was these low-key elements, combined with the magical setting, that made for an unforgettable day. "We chose Inverness not only because of its pristine beauty, misty forests, and quaint little town, but we also have a tradition of going up there as a family for the holidays," McAuliffe tells us.
