Get Ready For MAC’s Cheeky-Chic Holiday ’12 Collection

'Tis the (holiday) season, which means that the R29 beauty closet is already ready to burst with the holiday offerings from various beauty brands. While we love seeing each and every fun, festive product that comes our way, one of the collections that we're always waiting for with bated breath is MAC holiday. Somehow, the brand always manages to send inspiring, party-ready makeup our way, without veering into snowflakes-for-your-face territory (yes, there is such a thing as too festive).

This year, MAC has delivered again, with a retro-modern collection that manages to be feminine yet edgy (think a modern take on The Valley of the Dolls). The three categories (Glamour Daze, Guilty Passions, and Fabuloussness) of the collection include a mix of saccharine pastels and dark metallics for a slick take on Mod style. We're dying over the palettes housed in cute hatbox-esque boxes accented with black bows, and don't even get us started on the key-lime-colored nail lacquer. When all of the girls will be turning to their red lipstick and liquid liners to create their holiday looks this season, you can bet that we'll be copying this smoldering model and going for the badass Barbie look instead.
