Sienna Miller took your Karlie Kut and raised it some daring bangs. Living up to her hair-icon status, Miller debuted the choppy 'do on the set of her new film, Adam Jones, in London. As reported by Vogue U.K., the cut is for her role in said film — but her hairstylist, Luke Hersheson, says this mane change has been a long time coming.
"We were originally going to go really short, almost like Winona Ryder in the '90s," Hersheson told the magazine. "I wanted to do something that felt a little more boyish and tougher. In the end, we opted for a 'bad' (but good bad!) bob with an undercut at the back and sides."

To achieve the done-yet-undone effect on Miller's hair, Hersheson cut her locks with a razor — which he admits is unorthodox for a bob. He explained, "There are loads of almost chewed and torn-looking ends and it is slightly shorter at the back — it's layered really invisibly by taking weight out with thinning scissors from the underneath of the hair and leaving the top sections heavier and longer so it squashes the hair flatter to the head."
While her new locks might tone down her bun game, there's no saying whether her former rose-gold hue will make a comeback. We're holding out hope. (Vogue U.K.)
