Is Marios Schwab Secretly Moonlighting For Margiela?

Far be it from us to spread unfounded rumours, but we understand that Marios Schwab has been doing a spot of undercover designing. The British talent has been spending time in Paris, and it's thought he has been ghost-designing for Maison Martin Margiela.
The fashion house is shrouded in mystery at the best of times, and all parties involved remain tight-lipped on the subject. According to WWD, Margiela's spokesperson said that the house does not talk about individual designers and that its studio is a creative collective that combines in-house team and the odd new contributor.
The fashion house has not named a creative director since Margiela's eponymous and highly elusive founder left in 2009. Although no one's owning up to it, we think a Marios-Margiela collaboration could be a happy one, aesthetically speaking. And as WWD points out, Renzo Rosso, who owns Margiela, was spotted in the front row of Schwab’s London Fashion Week show in September. We'll just have to keep our eyes out for Marios' signature silhouettes on the Margiela catwalk next season... (WWD)
