STORY | JULIA HEUER is a Germany-based artisan designer focused on the the ancient technique of handmade plisse pleating. Best known for her eccentric pleated prints, each piece is handcrafted by Heuer and her team. Before launching her eponymous fashion line, she was the Head of Print Design for renowned textile company Jakob Schlaepfer. During her tenure she created unique prints for fashion houses such as Dior, Comme des Garcons, Calvin Klein and others.
