light up your space with these diy neon signs

The reason that I'm using a curl thread versus a straight thread is I want it to give a little bit more balanced and a little bit more definition, a little bit more of a lift. Hi, my name is Lexi Danato out and I'm getting a lip thread lift done today. So I've had a little bit of lip filler in the past. So really I want to see the difference. Ideally, I want more volume all around my lips and just have it be mostly even and shapely. I'm Dr. Sheila Nazarian, I'm a board certified plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills. Lip threads are also sometimes known as the cupid's bow lift. Now that's because this area up top where you have a peak, a dip a peak, and then it comes down is known as the cupid's bow. So a lot of times people flatten out there or they lose definition. So by placing a thread here and a thread here, it's kind of giving people that bow shape back. First, I'm going to numb Lexi's face The lips can be a little bit sensitive so giving them a dental block with some light lidocane and some local anesthesia is really going to help her not feel pain when I get started on the threading itself. Now I'm making a small hole at the corner of Lexi's lips, which I can use to place the threads both in her upper lip and her lower lip. Right now I'm placing the thread into Lexi's upper lip and really making sure that it's in the perfect location to give her that lifted cupid's bow and a defined border. Now I'm going to thread Lexi's lower lip to fill in that lip. In a lip, that little indentation that shows that she's had some deflation in the last few years. Even though we call it lip threading, this is not something you would use to sew your clothes up at home. This is actual suture material which is sterile, very similar to what we use in surgery to sew wounds together and that has predictable long term results. It looks so good, really good. Oh my goodness. It's so natural. When I looked in the mirror for the reveal, I feel like I would have wanted a little bit more volume. But I found out that that's not what the thread does. So that's okay. And I love Love, love my lips. Now I think my pout is a lot more pretty

My name is Melissa and I'm getting a nose piercing today. I had my nose piercing for a little over a year but I kind of got tired of where the piercing was placed. So when you're getting nose pierced, it happens quickly. It's a pinch. It's an anticipation that makes it feel like it's gonna be a lot worse but it isn't. placement is definitely important when it comes to piercings. When you get a piercing done. It shapes your face. If it's in a weird spot, you might feel like you look weird. The piercing needle. It's one mission on this planet is to do what? Here's the body, it's hollow, it pierces quicker and without any kind of drag. It doesn't remove any tissue. It just kind of opens a space. I like to pierce on the one single exhale, deep breath in. Exhale. That's what appears first. It's a sharp pinch, but it subsides very rapidly. You're gonna feel warm in the area of blood is rushing to the area, the eye immediately waters. A slight change made such a big difference. He moved it up a little bit into the side and I think it looks so much better.

I was not aware that I was self conscious of my chin until it started drooping. My name is Angela and today I'm getting kybella injections I'm Dr. Dara liotta and I'm a facial plastic surgeon on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. kybella kind of fills a little niche that we didn't have a good answer for before is an in office non invasive treatment that can be done in 10 minutes using a needle and an injection. kybella is deoxy colic acid, which is very similar to the acid that your body releases to break up fat. kybella will pop those fat cells and once the fat cells have been liced and removed by your body, you don't grow new fat cells in the area. So whatever results you get from one treatment of kybella to treatments for treatments of kybella it's all permanent. Each treatment is very specialized and customized to the patient. I am not afraid of needles. Really this area under here? Feels like it might be sensitive. Okay, pain or No. Awesome job. I can feel that burning. Oh yeah. Are you okay? Yeah, no, it'll come it'll be better No way. thats it you did it! when i first did it the swelling was lasting a really really long time it looked like I swallowed a potato. I thought is this going to be forever Am I never going to see the results of this treatment, but then after six weeks the swelling started to go down. The fluids started to go I don't know where wherever the fluid goes. Then I start to see a noticeable difference in my jawline, which was awesome.

What I love about first time clients is they have a little trepidation but they are very excited to see what their hair free journey is gonna look like. So I love that enthusiasm. I'm Nina, I'm 27 years old and I'm getting laser hair removal done today. Hi, I'm nurse Erica Mena Nice to meet you. We recommend that you do not pluck wax thread or nair no other forms of hair removal besides shaving prior to treatment. during the procedure, Mina will feel snaps from the laser. Don't feel the cool air which we turned down for the face because it makes it a little bit more difficult to breathe through this process if there's just air blowing in your face, and then she'll also feel a little Heat. You never want to feel a lot of heat. You want it to all kind of be a smooth transition from one zap to the next one area to the next. What does that smell? Everyone always ask? It is called plume it is the hair follicle burning. smells like Fourth of July. Oh my gosh, it was so ridiculously smooth. This is embarrassing, but I had like this one. Here. It's like, God, like it's not even there anymore. Nina was so excited to see her first treatment. So we recommend clients to come in six weeks after their first treatment, the hair will grow and thinner and you'll have less of it. With laser hair removal, you're at least working towards a goal. Or if you're investing money, you at least know the hair is either getting thinner or it's not going to come back again. And that is a way better feeling than feeling like you're gonna have to be in this weird purgatory of, you know, paying for waxing for the rest of your life.

1: Hey, it's Bea. I know you can't see me but I'm in the studio ready to show you how to make some customizable neon signs. Let's get to it! 2: So I'm getting together all of my supplies for this custom neon sign. The most important thing you need is neon. You'll need a frame with particle board backing, something to draw with, a hole punch, and some crazy glue. 3: So take the frame, you'll see the one I have has about an inch of space which you'll need to hide the battery pack. Remove the glass from the frame and keep the cardboard backing. If you want to paint this or decorate it, now's the time but I left mine black. 4: Now you're going to trace your design onto the board. I'm sketching a pair of lips. Keep this in mind. The simpler your design, the easier it will be to lay down the neon wire. 5: Now here's the tricky part that requires some problem solving like a real neon sign, you want to find a way to create a single line of neon to cover your design. The first step is identifying entry and exit points for the wire where it will be threaded through the cardboard. 6: Turns out the hole punch isn't going to work. So I'm using a small screwdriver to make a hole. Keep the hole small to start, you can always make them bigger. 7: Trace your design with the glue and begin to lay your wire. Make sure you get the wire into a place you love because the glue will dry quickly. When you come to a tighter corner, you can manipulate the wire by pinching it 8: and feeding the end of the wire through the exit hole so I can lay the last line. This time I'm putting some glue directly onto the wire. Now it's time to get your board back into your frame and secure the wires. 9: I'm using some durable tape to secure the pack and extra wire to the back of the frame. Don't forget to keep the power button accessible. Drumroll please. There you go your very own neon sign. 10: To me an even more exciting way to use Neon is adding it to pre existing art. I'm going to embellish this funky poster with neon glasses and the word woke on her shirt. I love this because you can really get creative with literally any piece of art you have. 11: Again, you want to trace out a single path through your neon wire. I make my entry and exit holes and thread the wire through. Using the Krazy Glue, I trace the path and start to lay the wire. The last circle and then I pull the wire to the back. 12: Now onto her shirt. I'm just lightly marking out a rectangle so I know my boundaries and a light tracing of the letters so I can space them out evenly. 13: I'm feeding more than enough wire through so I have plenty to write with. I'm using pliers to get a tie crimp on the wire for the bend and the W and out through the exit point to finish the first letter. 14: Lastly, before this baby goes into the frame, I'm going to reinforce it with the cardboard backing that came with the frame. 15: I'm cutting some rough holes to fit around the extra wire and battery packs. 16: Finally I secure everything to the cardboard with tape. Close up the frames and 17: we got ourselves a neon woke bae! And there you have it an easy DIY to make your very own customizable neon sign. Thanks for watching!
