Identify what plant you have. Mine is a geranium.
Research what conditions your plants like best. Sun or shade? Biweekly or monthly watering?
Make sure there’s drainage at the bottom of your pot to avoid rotten roots.
Remove dead flowers and leaves to encourage continual flowering and regrowth.
Prune at 45 degree angle allowing a greater surface area for water intake.
Cut bad leaves as close as possible to the stem.
Dispose of dead leaves regularly to make sure they don’t take nutrients away from your plant.
