Another Hole in the Head Film Festival Closing Party
The two-week horror movie festival, Another Hole in the Head, might have come to a close this week, but spooky flick fans are sending the fest off in style with a closing party tonight. Expect electronic tunes by N.Y.C.'s Three and more horror movie geeks than you can shake a stick at.

Cocktails and Stargazing at the Marina Public Library
Those with more high-brow interests might enjoy the S.F. Public Library's second installment of its member-exclusive, after-hours cocktail party. This time 'round, the even will be held at the Marina branch and include an appearance by Packing for Mars author Mary Roach, a space-themed photo-booth, and "a tour of the sky" courtesy of the San Francisco Amateur Astronomers and a few telescopes out on the back patio.

Kiehl’s Grand Opening on Fillmore, Plus Eric Dance Appearance
S.F. native Eric Dane will visit Kiehl’s new Fillmore location as the beauty company fetes the new space with a live DJ, complimentary raffles, and refreshments. The event will honor the Homeless Prenatal Program charity and the first 160 people to arrive at noon will score Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser for free.

The 57th Annual North Beach Festival

The Center for Urban Education and Sustainable Agriculture (CUESA) is hosting a D.I.Y. cocktail class with mixologist extraordinaire Scott Beattie (of Healdsburg’s Spoonbar fame) in which participants will learn to mix up a variety of tasty seasonal cocktails utilizing Charbay spirits.

Stern Grove Festival Featuring Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings
The 2011 installation of this free concert series, established in 1938, will last through the beginning of August and feature 10 different events and diverse acts, including soul masters Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings (featured this weekend), and followed up by Neko Case, the S.F. Opera, the S.F. Ballet, and others, all in a gorgeous outdoor amphitheater.
